However right before a dressy outdoor event in FL I ended up with a red zit and I wanted to be able to cover it up and I needed the coverage to last all day in hot weather; after all my husband and I were driving 18 hours for this and I wanted to be able to take photos without cringing at the red zit (I hardly ever break out so of course that just makes it harder for me to be ok with it lol). After reading reviews for various long lasting concealers I chose this and I’ve got to say it worked better than any concealer I’ve ever tried before! It truly did last for the majority of the day (it was 83° and sunny and hot and I was dancing and even for someone who doesn’t sweat much I still did a little) and I only needed a little touch up with a speak of concealer towards the end of the day and this was easy enough to carry around and blends out fine with just lightly tapping. It was easy to color match, did not oxidize, and even though a color is never spot on for skin tones it was close enough that it blended seamlessly. My only suggestion might be to go a shade lighter than what you might think; my skin tone normally falls into the light/medium to medium range and I think I chose one in the “light” shade range and I feel like if I had gone with the light/medium range it would have been too dark. But take that advice as you will because I obviously have very little experience with concealers so maybe I did it wrong, but it still worked for what I needed! I’m definitely considering purchasing a lighter shade to do some subtle highlighting since it blended so well and had zero shimmer to it but it did not look matte or cakey like a lot of waterproof long wear concealers do. So I highly recommend! Definitely worth the cost because you need to use so little for great coverage!
