I'm reviewing three incontinence products, for comparison.Depend Night Defense has been excellent in terms of fit, absorption (quantity and quality), and preventing leakage, even overnight. I bought the medium (per the chart) and it fits great; plenty of stretch. The absorption easily handled two 'wee's and/or one wee and a poo (I'm being delicate here, play along please!) with NO leakage! There is no smell to the product, so it is discreet. I have not noticed any skin irritation. Five stars, no complaints.Always Discreet Boutique is excellent in terms of absorption and preventing leakage (daytime use). However, I would recommend sizing up, as the Medium is smaller than the Depend Medium, above. They easily handle either one 'wee' and/or 'poo' with no leakage. They do have a "feminine product" scent, though it is not overpowering. For a couple hours, you will catch whiffs of this distinctive scent. No skin irritation that I've noticed. Four stars (would be five stars, but for the fit).Tena Stylish "Super Plus Heavy" was a disappointment in comparison. I bought Large instead of Medium, as recommended by many reviewers. The width/waist was good, but they fit more like hipsters than briefs. The back coverage was insufficient, and they leaked through to the seat of the pants, even though I did not use it for bedtime/laying prone. Since I had to change them out about two hours after putting them on, I can't speak to skin irritation. They do not have any scent. To compensate the cost of upgrading they sacrificed material and made this same size smaller . They turned it into a hipster. This now reaches just below the navel and runs low on backside. Now I have to go up a size and this means I have to pay more for larger size pkg. . And unfortunately, much to my horror, bowel and bladder incontinence.. I finally broke down after cleaning up too many accidents, the Depends Night Defense. Please do measure yourself as directed and go by their size guide. I ended up with an XL,which I feared wouldn’t be big enough but they fit perfectly. I have some trouble getting them on because I can’t bend over much and a long time chronic illness has taken most of my muscle strength so even raising my leg,to put my foot through the leg opening, is challenging!I have a lot of gastrointestinal problems and a lot of bloating so I can’t tolerate tight clothes or waistbands. But I have no problem with the Depends. They not only fit but they’re comfortable. The waistband is very soft and stretchy and I just fold it over a bit. They fit perfectly and I hardly notice wearing them but I no longer have that terrible fear of incontinence and damaging clothes and furniture.This may be too much info but last night as usual, I had to pee really badly and ,as usual, couldn’t get off the couch (where I sleep) in time so I quit trying to fight it. Then being so sleepy and having difficulty getting off the couch (no strength)mi just flopped back down and went back to sleep! In the morning, the diaper was loaded so to speak, but everything else was dry! I was very pleased. Those nighttime trips to the commode or bathroom are a nightmare for me which is humbling to admit. They Åre leakproof for sure! And comfortable. Just buy the right size according to the measurements given.Yes, they’re expensive but I got a huge box that will last a long time I hope.
