Justin's patented grinding technique must really be special, because the oil stays blended and doesn't float to the top, resulting in a fine-grained, speadable! consistency all the way through the jar.If you see a jar of Justin's almond butter in your market has separated into oil and sludge, don't buy it, because it must have been sitting on that shelf for quite awhile. I have had more than one jar in my pantry for three months without having to stir it up from the bottom. After opening, I keep it in the fridge so it won't get stale.I spread Justin's almond butter on toast, bananas, pretzels, apples, rice cakes, and have mixed a tablespoon or two into banana-nut muffins and fresh fruit smoothies.
