The heat can also be set to either high or low, as well as the massage functions - another plus. Both vibration and heat functions work perfectly whether combined or used separately. An added improvement would be designing the straps to fit over a recliner chair. But even though the straps do not fit over my recliner, the pad stays in place really well. This massager replaced a similar Homedics product that recently stopped working, and the Snailax is a great improvement - better massage, heat, cushioning, and even a pocket attached to store the remote. It's a keeper!

Overall a good product, but it really needs a lower elastic band, they have one of the top, but not on the bottom, and it would be nice as it constantly slips out of the chair.
