On normal workday keeps me going all day. No gastro problems whatsoever and I am losing weight. I am 6’ and weigh 198 lbs. Not over weight by any means but would like to get down to 188 for optimum performance while running and doing triathlons. The protein is vegetarian which is very important to me since I have Crohns disease and cannot handle whey protein. I mix it in a blender with Almond milk, a good handful of spinach (which is tasteless) baby carrots, (also tasteless) frozen blueberries, a banana and sometime uncooked oatmeal. I can ride a good 15 to 20 miles trail riding on my mountain bike (about 3 hours depending on the course) and a good 30 to 40 miles on my road bike before needing a boost. I have tried more expensive products and this is the best bang for your buck. The only thing it is lacking in is the vitamin B family. But I supplement that with liquid vitamin b12 from CVS. I firmly believe in liquid formulas since so many times pills can pass through your body without being dissolved and therefore rendered useless and a waste of money. There ya go! A complete nutritious filling meal. Can’t beat the formula I just described. Go for it! Hope this helps. Shake doesn’t have a chalky consistency and doesn’t have a weird taste from the natural sugar either which is key for me.
