The smell is great not like some other lavender sprays which can smell stale. This is fresh smelling and I can definitely say that I drop to sleep quicker when using this. Even my toddler goes to sleep quicker after a spray of this on the pillow and seems to sleep better as well. The smell is gone by morning, it doesn't linger, after quickly falling to sleep after spraying this I can't say how long it actually lasts in hours lol because I'm asleep so it's doing its job. My only quibble is the cost.... Seems rather pricey for what is just a small bottle of lavender smelling water!
