So, I washed them with other whites, but that didn't improve them. So disappointed.The photo shows socks after ONE wearing and ONE washing (with white clothes).These socks are made of a thin, stretchy knit material and do not resist pilling at all. How can you wear tabi socks that look like this? Uggh! ### ⭐⭐ Annoying construction! *by A***R on November 28, 2017* As others have pointed out, the material on these socks is thin, especially considering the price. But the worst aspect, to me, is the way the toes are stitched. Most of the other tabi socks I've purchased have either a completely flat seam at the toe, or are constructed of fabric that folds over the toe and only has small stitching on the sides to provide shape. In the case of the "character" socks, this is not the case. The sock-toes have a fairly pronounced inside seam that rubs against the tips of my small toes, and all around the big-toe. It's annoying after even a few minutes. A partial work-around is to wear these socks inside out, but this then hides the design work on the socks themselves, and the large seams rubbing in the toe-gap is still fairly annoying. Would not purchase these again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Watch how you clean them *by J***L on May 13, 2017* One if the questions I saw a lot of when researching these was if they fit "western" feet. I wear a size men's 11 medium and they fit. Though they just barely come up over my ankles. Since I am wearing them with flip flops that doesn't bother me.But you have to be careful as to how you clean them. When I first got them I washed them and hung them up. The second time I washed a pair I put them in the dryer. You can see by the picture that they shrunk quite a bit. As the material is very stretchy they still fit fine.
