I could use them to screw in my first screw on my drawer fronts, but for several I had to just take the drawer out, measure and screw the bracket back in. If you have a helper, maybe you can do this on your own? Or if you feel like building your own spacers you could do without this. The clamps were helpful, but they kept loosening on their own, and I had to adjust the tension constantly.
