Directions Sit in a comfortable chair with good back support and your feet flat on the floor. Sit quietly for three to five minutes before taking your blood pressure. Position the cuff Place the cuff on your bare upper arm, one inch above the bend of your elbow. The tubing should fall over the front center of your arm. Pull the cuff so that it's snug, but not so tight that it pinches your skin. Take the measurement For an automatic monitor, press start and remain still and quiet. I just want a machine to monitor my own blood pressure. I don’t need to store it anywhere other than on the mach** A: You don't need an app. Stores on the machine. Very easy to use. Comes with a detailed instructions book. **Q: Do you have a large cuff for the machine?** A: I use the cuff that came with the machine. Surprisingly it fit my arm. At the dr office they need to use their large one tho they don’t have an Omron machine **Q: Does anyone have issues with fluctuating readings (10+) when taking consecutive measurements? Seeing swings like 131-144 one minute after the other.** A: I DO NOT have this model, but I have two other Omron Intellisense monitors. Each one gives unusually high readings, even when averaging. I took my monitors to my cardiologist to have him check my BP and compare it to each of the Omron devices. Typically, the cardiologist reads 130/70 and the Omron reads around 157/60. High systolic and low diastolic. Just my observation as a patient, not a professional. I think Omron uses the same technology in all of their machines, so I don't trust the readings. **Q: I need a large cuff for this model. Which one should I buy?** A: The universal cuff is great. It's easy to put on by myself with the pre-formed curl on the end.
