So 479 x 4 (or 4.79 cal/g x 400g) = 1916 calories in the bag. A cat needs approx. 30 calories per lb. to sustain its weight, so a 10 lb. cat needs 300 calories. Therefore 1916/300 = 6.39 days worth of calories to sustain a 10 lb. cat if it eats nothing else. **Q: Can this be crumbled up? You will need to adjust the amounts of canned pate’, water and dry cuisine according to the size of your cat, and how fast he/she eats, since a bowl should not sit out for too long. My cat will not drink water, so this mixture also assures that she gets her necessary daily water intake.
