I found the zipper underneath to be very cumbersome and would be much easier if it were just velcro. The very first time I undid the bottom strap it broke (see pic). I think they miss the mark on the design. Most all of the hard suitcases have the material in the in the middle and the handles are either on one side or the other. This was designed with all the handle holes right in the middle so none of the handles except for the main telescoping handle are usable.
