As soon as you plug it in a red light comes onand this suggests that the repeller is working, so we have to have faith in the product.I have used an Inkerscoop repeller before, which lasted about 3 years with reasonable results until the lights went out so I have now replaced it with the Inkerscoop 2018 model, Hopefully it will work as well.Whilst the product details talk about it being "pet friendly", one has to remember that if your childrenhave a pet Hamster or Gerbil, then it is not friendly to them as they too are rodents.The only downside for me is the sellers reference to the "Helminthes effect". Helminths are parasiticworms that live in the human body and have no relation to this product.The main positive for me is that it keeps mice away. You have to somehow tap it to get it in place for it to work, but then that also sometimes becomes intermittent.
