**Q: What’s the shelf life?**
A: We always eat it immediately so I’m not too sure!  But it is wrapped in foil and I have always found the bars to be very fresh without oxidation.  Absolutely wonderful chocolate.

**Q: In what country is it made?**
A: I believe in Belgium

**Q: what does slave-free mean**
A: It means the ppl who process the cacao beans are paid a livable wage and are treated well. They have not been forced to work thru human trafficking and manipulation. Nor forced to work long hours under inhumane conditions.

**Q: Why is it only 1% slave free? How does that make it any better? Why not 100% slave free?**
A: Unfortunately Tony’s Chocolonely uses some cacao beans that they can’t be 100% positive where their source is. Bc they don’t know they don’t know if they are equitably sourced or not. Tony’s cannot guarantee that some of their beans have come from sources that use slave labor (young children/orphans, human trafficked ppl). It’s too bad bc their chocolate is very good.
