Pretty much, yes. For example, if you're showering and someone flushes the toilet, the temperature stays the same. For 90 quid, this is a basic electric shower. Nothing particularly clever is going on. **Q: Tank fed or mains** A: Ours is tank fed and is this model is more powerful than the old Triton 8.5kw it replaced. We were even able to change setting from 2 to 1 (i.e. Summer setting) this summer which did reduce slightly the pressure but is still perfectly OK. Also because it replaced the older model I was able to install it myself as all fittings and screw positions are the same.
