I had been using a medical honey based wound care product. I experienced chronic and significant pain as well as profound wound exudate and repeated local infections. The amount of exudate contributed to maceration and overall compromise of the surrounding tissue. After 2 days using this stuff I have noted a significant decrease in pain, I can sleep again. I have also noted diminished inflammation as well and a decrease in exudate with corresponding benefit to the periwound tissue. This stuff is not the "golden bb". It will not resolve all your problems overnight and I never expected it to. It has however contributed to vast improvement pain and inflamation as well as local skin integrity in just two days. This, in my opinion, creates an environment for success that will help my body to heal itself and mitigate pain, inflammation, and fight infection while that happems which is exactly what I was hoping for. Very pleased thus far.
