Opening the package I was surprised by how small the face is, but when it’s on it’s the perfect size. I had to remove 2 links to adjust it to fit my wrist, which was a breeze with one of these cheap tools. It feels great quality and has a bit of weight to it. It’s really easy to put on by yourself, although the clasp feels a little delicate to put too much pressure on it to open it so I’m intrigued to see how it holds up. I am a silver/white gold kind of person, and have a great experience with how stainless steel holds up so I was glad to see this option. The colour is stunning as it’s very shiny & I love the monochrome face. The Roman numerals are a nice, classic touch. Highly recommend so far, especially as a gift. Although you may want to buy a presentation box if it’s a special gift as it just comes in a pouch (which is very handy for storage/travel). Will try to update after some wears to see its durability. You know that situation where you end up boring yourself because you’re looking at the same stuff over and over again, but nothing’s quite right? In the end, I spotted this and thought why not? It’s very elegant, goes with everything, and although it’s much smaller than I’d usually wear - I tend to wear 38mm+ faces - I figured that, at this price, it was hard to argue with. For the most part, I was right. It’s easy to read with a clean, sleek look. Someone else mentioned in their review that it’s clearly an “homage” to a Cartier design, which is probably why I like it. (Let’s face it, they make nice watches!) This design avoids all the glittery crap that so many watch designersseem convinced that women want, which means it wins extra points in my eyes. One of the things mentioned in the reviews I read pre-purchase said this watch is great for small wrists. I’m not sure what constitutes small, but my wrist is 6” in circumference and despite having multiple links removed, it still doesn’t sit quite as I’d like to just behind the wrist bone.
