## Description

The Sussex II Alarm Clock is the perfect elegant touch to your bedside table, and it ensures you are always waking up to high style. The beep alarm comes complete with an auto constant light and a 5 minute snooze function. The quiet-sweep second hand is a wonderful feature, no ticking sound heard here. There is also a handy light feature to illuminate the face of the clock when extra light is needed. All of this enclosed in a regal gold-tone plastic case. Powered by 3 AA battery (included). Overall dimensions: 4.61 X 4.65 X 3.19 inches. All of this along with the most accurate quartz crystal movement Seiko has to offer an analog clock.

Review: This is s a very attractive clock. I bought it for the bathroom counter. I love the large black numerals against the white face's background. I bought it because of the color but also because I need large and dark numerals. I also love the nightlight feature. Plus it is quiet. Other large "print" clocks I have had were noisy. This one is not. In fact, I liked it so much I bought a second one for the bedroom. The optional lighted feature is dim yet makes the clock easy to read in ta dark room.
Review: There are no big surprises to be had with this clock, you get pretty much what's represented. It's silent, has a non-ticking sweep second hand, and won't take up too much space on your night stand. If desired, you can elect to have an unobtrusive constant backlight come on when the room dims, or it can be turned off to stay dark as the light fades. However, I have a couple of small issues with this clock. How much would it have cost to put some non-skid rubber bumpers on the bottom of this clock? I have a drawer full of them! If you brush this clock off a night stand onto a hardwood floor as you fumble for it, half awake, it's going to be a goner. And while it looks nice (gold model), it falls a bit short of Seiko's typical construction standards, thin and plasticy. Those issues aside, it's a nice clock which illuminates when it gets dark and so far has kept accurate time, you won't feel cheated.

I love this clock. It's plastic, but it has a nice design, is backlit with a soft light, and the time is very easy to read. Just the right size--not too big, not too small. I hope it lasts many years.
