There is nothing to hold the paper towels and they keep unraveling and laying on the countertop. If I wanted my paper towels touching my countertop, I wouldn't need a holder for them. It would probably work fine for a spare toilet paper roll holder if the rolls haven't been started yet. I considered sending it back, but it's heavy and would probably cost too much in shipping. I may use it as a door stop, just a decoration.I am raising to four stars because I realized when Bounty paper towels are used, they do not unravel like the cheaper paper towels. I still think there should be something to hold the towels. Why not design it with the tail curled up to hold the roll?
