Why? I'll explain. First, the case. I had tan leather. With a laptop as ludicrously expensive as my new 13" Mac Pro, I wanted the thinest and best quality available anywhere - so I did my research. This one is pricey - but the build, the cut, the finish are first class. But I was originally a touch disappointed. Why? Fit. I wanted a sleeve barely bigger than my Mac. This is the test of the company - I contacted customer services who told me that a 'V2' was also in the pipe - but that, if I could wait, I would have a 'stretch to fit', as per my taste. It arrived in December, and I can only describe the 'V2' as 'perfect', I'm OCD and I cannot fault it. It is protective, stylish, and looks exactly as I had hoped. It will take a few months to take on the 'shape' of my computer - I expect to have to 'fit' the machine to it for the time being - but it is of a quality where it will get better with age.
