I usually let the blade dry completely before putting it into this container - that reduces the probability that it will rust. I estimate there are nearly 200 disposed blades in this little tin now -- it takes quite a bit of shaking and rattling some mornings to get them lined shifted such that I can slide another blade in, but it's still taking more without too much effort. I think you are supposed to just throw the whole thing away once you feel it because I don’t see a way to open it to dispose of the blades overall, this is a great product and should last you a long time.
