I realize that this thing is entry level, but… When I came home from work, I immediately unboxed it. The outer carton was perfect, so was the inner until I saw the styrofoam. This thing looked like it was kicked across the warehouse out of spite. I quickly examined the RC as one does and noticed that the coupler that connects the motor to the prop was broken. I email Traxxas immediately to see if I could get a replacement. The teapot was fast, as I’ve heard, but I ordered one from desertcart as well. desertcart part showed up in standard two days. Two weeks later, I’m still waiting for the part from Traxxas. Going back to the propeller. This thing looked like it was assembled by a first-day employee that had only heard about RC vehicles, third person. I almost cut my fingers on the prop, just trying to turn it. Way too little tolerance. Way too tight. desertcart part came and I replaced it pretty quickly. After that, I noticed that the antenna wire was floppy about 3 inches from the end. It was crimped and broken inside. Knowing how RC receivers work, I know that this will give me about 200 ft range. This thing is horrible and hasn’t even touched the water yet.
