I use this on my anchor chain in, up to, 10 feet of water on the Chesapeake. Snubbing the anchor takes the stress off the windlass on my 34' Back Cove. Works very well. Easy to deploy once you get a procedure down. But, keep your hands OUT of the windlass. I don't use this for mooring lines since I have a lift, so I don't know. I do like the quick ties for tying off to line on a deeper anchorage. I tie it exactly as instructed but the ties slipped and won’t hold under continued strain on the line.
