I've tried several and these function the best. They don't waste battery power, the sensor works when it should, the light is good and bright. I really want to LOVE these lights. BUT...The adhesive on the Velcro strips is just horrible. I have had to re-glue EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. On both the wall side and the side attached to the battery pack. I'd rate these 3.5 stars if I could just for the pain in the bum factor.However, I've actually re-purchased these because they WORK. And they're inexpensive. So I'm willing to go through the extra step of dealing with the bad adhesive on the Velcro in order to get the benefits.Note that I haven't had the same problem with the adhesive on the light strips themselves. It comes a double side sticky tape. All you have to do is place the lights at your liking and peel back the protective cover and press hard against the surface. Put in the 4 AAA batteries into the unit, plug in the cord and go!I prefer to have it on the manual setting. Wasn't expecting a lot from this product but the price was so low, I figured "might as well try it". The motion sensor is not too sensitive the doors opening and closing doesn't activate it, but I wave my hand in the closet and it turns right on.. light is bright enough for me to see what I'm doing which is all I really needed. When I close the doors it shuts off fairly quickly.
