Hang it off the blinds behind the curtains or add Velcro to the back of it to attach to the wall. We have sheer so it still allows the string lights to show but will also hide the battery box. **Q: How Do you turn on the lights? I added the batteries and they don’t work.** A: Firstly, check if the battery is installed correctly(You can pull out the black battery back and then install batteries according to the positive and negative order). Second, if the batteries are OK, please remove the plastic sheet in the remote control and then press the green ON button or press the button on the battery box directly. If all above don't work, please contact us directly and our customer service team will solve this problem for you quickly. **Q: Is the plug at the top or the bottom? As in will I need an extension cord to plug them in?** A: Plug is at the top, we didn't need an extension cord. These are really nice lights. We've used them for holidays too. **Q: Can these be hung directly on a curtain rod? If hanging on the ceiling, what do you suggest using to secure them?
