I don't think any of them are thick since the idea is to ground you not make it comfortable for long term standing or kneeling. **Q: Is this made in the United States?** A: I don't know but probably not at the price. **Q: Can you use this mat while it's folded in half?** A: I don't know. I've never done it. It's thin so I imagine it's possible.
