It is more than strong enough for this.Comes with sufficient screws and rawlplugs etc. to satisfy most situations.The only point I would mention is that there are a couple of screws which should be tightened to prevent the TV being accidently knocked sideways off the rail, and depending on the size of the TV you may need a very long screwdriver to access them.
