One took at least 10 minutes to finally get to the Home screen. The other one would take up to 4-5 times even getting it started. They are used in a home environment and really don't have heavy use on them. I bought 2 replacement drives from this company and I'm happy to report that they are super fast, have universal fit, and just drop in after removing the shield on the mechanical hard drive. Windows installs in like 10 minutes using a usb stick with creation media on it. This is a great product and will bring a useless bricked computer not only back to life, but, super fast. One is running an I5 and the other an I7. So...If you have an ASUS that won't run or is so slow as to be useless.... It's probably your Hard drive. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS SSD drive. From a piece of Trash to as good as new now.
