It’s soft but has a bit of a velvety feel to it which is great because I get very sweaty hands doing my workouts and this wicks away the sweat so that I don’t get slip which has happened with more run of the mill mats I’ve used in the past. Even though it is thin it is very comfortable to lie on.The design is incredibly beautiful!
