The picture guide was mostly very easy to follow and it only took about 30 minutes to get everything added. The pieces can be a little tricky to snap together if you struggle with fitting tiny pieces together. You do also need 3 triple A batteries and then a coin battery for the remote to be able to light up your BD-1.
