Prior to purchasing this I had tried a flat baby nail file and one that you can put on your thumb. I found both hard to use due to the length of time they took to work with a wriggling baby and that it was hard to file evenly and it often led to sharp ends. This nail file however is easy to use and gets the job done quickly. The pack comes in a nice carry case and has diffent attachable files for different ages. The files are soft enough that they will not damage skin and just gently file the nails back. I can do the babies nails in minutes and it is so much easier than before. I would fully recommend buying this type of file and not bothering with the others as the end result is so much better. It takes batteries (AAA) but I have not had to change them yet so I don't think it uses much power.
