Colic in infants can be caused by a combination of influences including ingesting air during feeding. The Advanced Comfort range from Closer to Nature is specially designed to reduce air ingestion that may cause colic. The discomfort which can be caused by ingesting air when bottle feeding can be stressful and upsetting for both parents and babies. 

This bottle set comes complete with four 260 ml/9 fl oz feeding bottles and six slow-flow teats. The teats do not feature a valve, unlike other Closer to Nature teats, and so they must not be used with standard bottles without a venting tube. 

A baby can ingest air during feeding in two ways 
1. Air within the milk 
The Advanced Comfort air venting system allows air to enter into the bottle safely, and reduces air bubbles in the milk. 

2. When feeding at the teat 
The Advanced Comfort teat with wide neck design allows for an easy and more natural latch on for your baby, so there is less risk of air being taken in during the feeding process. 

Designed to help reduce air ingestion 
Closer to Nature Advanced Comfort bottles provide optimum venting during feeding via a unique tube and valve system. They also help provide a continual feeding action via an easy-latch teat.
