## Overview

The Greenkey Soaker Hose is a 20-meter porous watering solution designed for low-pressure use, delivering water directly to plant roots with up to 70% less water consumption than conventional sprinklers. Made from recycled materials and equipped with snap-fit fittings for easy connection, it’s ideal for efficient, eco-friendly irrigation of garden rows, flower beds, and vegetable patches.

## Description

Soaker hoses are ideal for the continuous watering of hedges, herbaceous borders, vegetable plots etc. Designed to be used at low pressure, soaker hoses can be used with outdoor taps or water butts (as long as the water source is higher than the area to be watered). Complete with snap fit hose fittings including a double male connector so two soaker hoses can be connected together. (NB we do not recommend joining more than two hoses together if they are being fed from a single water source). The Greenkey soaker hose can be used above ground or below ground. If using above ground, apply mulch to prevent water loss through condensation. Clay or heavy soil will impede performance below ground. After purchase, it is advisable to uncoil the hose and let it "relax" before use. This allows the micropores time to re-open, having been coiled in the packaging. Can be used with Greenkey soaker hose pegs.

Review: Good hose but purchase an end stop with it - Perfect soaker hose, does the job nicely especially where my flower bed meets the brick wall. The only downside is that it doesnt come with an end stop so if you dont want to attach it to another hose (connector included for this purpose) the water gushes out so I would definitely advise purchasing one otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I put this in my flower border so that I did not have to keep watering. Just put in the right position and then connect to the hose when you need to. My border has looked really good this summer and I have saved water as I usually put the sprinkler on. Highly recommended.

Perfect soaker hose, does the job nicely especially where my flower bed meets the brick wall. The only downside is that it doesnt come with an end stop so if you dont want to attach it to another hose (connector included for this purpose) the water gushes out so I would definitely advise purchasing one otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

### ⭐ Very disappointing

This looked good at first... unwrapped it and laid it out to full length to check it before placing it around the veg plot where it was to replace a hose purchased last year that had started spraying out from several places. Plugged it in to the hose and it looked great, water soaking out perfectly... checked the whole length and it wasn't until the last 2 or 3 metres, where it had been wound up more tightly than the rest, that I spotted 2 very big 'leaks' with water spraying out. See photos. Not just small sprays, but big sprays. I know it's a soaker hose and is supposed to be leaky but mini fountains are not good. I have tried fixing the leaks with self amalgamating tape and hopefully this will work, otherwise I shall be returning this. Have been unable to test it as yet due to the rain and being busy.
