At the time of purchase he was around 8months old and about 65lbs. He was/is a pulled when he is excited. I was very happy with the purchase initially. The collar fit well, the leash softened with use and was perfect for working on training. However, I am very dissatisfied with its durability. After about 4-5 months of use, the collar snapped at the buckle hole during use, and he wasn’t even pulling that hard. I purchased a collar from a different seller and continued to use the leash. After about 7 months of use, the leash snapped in two places while in use with one good pull from my lab. Thankfully both breaks occurred in fairly controlled settings and my lab recalls pretty well, so no major worries about him going rogue. This might be a great product if you have a very small dog, or a well trained dog who doesn’t pull at all.
