So equivalent to 100 watts is saying that the output for this LED at 20 watts is equivalent to an incandescent at 100 watts. I personally don't understand why they can't just say it's as bright as a 100 watt. It does seem weirdly mislabeled, disingenuous or possibly even deceptive. We actually CAN understand that it's the output that is the same, not the input. (Not the seller's fault) My plants do love this bulb though! I think I'll take their word for it... ;-) **Q: Does this light produce any heat?** A: I had 2 running at the same time, about 4 inches above my plants. There was some heat, of course, but it wasn't much more than a regular 60 watt light bulb (spiral ones). **Q: Is this a mh(metal halide) or hps(high pressure sodium bulb?** A: Neither its LED the difference is less power consumption but on the bad side it don't produce enough heat to boost results but that's fine if u keep the room heated **Q: Is this waterproof?** A: I would call them "water resistant", I've splashed them in the greenhouse and run then in high humidity conditions with no issues.
