Review: Healthy, convenient, expensive - I love this milk because it has less sugar and quite a bit more protein than regular milk making it a great all around healthy drink which is much better than those high sugar meal replacement drinks you can buy. And it's one of the few shelf stable ones that actually taste good, doesn't have that burnt taste. It's best by date is usually 6 months from when you get it but it lasts a lot longer than that at room temperature. But my oh my is it expensive. For day to day use I buy the 59 Oz cartons of this brand from the grocery store; but these, while lasting a lot longer than regular milk (about 45 days), do need to be refrigerated. These small bottles don't to be refrigerated and are very convenient. I say they are expensive but that's when you compare them to the larger cartons of high protein ultra filtered milk you can buy at the grocery store. But if you compare them to meal replacement drinks like Soylent they are actually comparably priced and healthwise a much better meal replacement because they have less carbohydrate and higher quality protein.

We are currently staying in a buddies barn loft and while we can make camp coffee we missed our lactose free milk. These are delicious in coffee, instant oatmeal, in MREs that require milk, soup, etc. They are a great way to make sure we get our daily amounts of protein as well. And unlike traditional shelf stable milk, this one comes in a small bottle with a screw top lid. So convenient when we don't finish a bottle and can throw it on the cooler or thermos for later. I'm here to order more if that says anything, they're worth the price to us because we are lactose intolerant and don't use that much regular milk. The previous order lasted over a month, and that's pretty impressive for daily coffee drinkers!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not cheap, but worth it for me and maybe for you

I like to have a little milk around for things like coffee, oatmeal, and just in case a recipe call for some, but I don't use that much, I'm mildly lactose intolerant, and I'm the only person in my house who drinks any milk at all. I used to get Fairlife for the good macros and absence of lactose, but I could only find it in 52 oz. containers, which I found hard to finish in two weeks. I always ended up having to freeze some, and frozen milk is less easily usable. These say to drink within 7 days rather than 14, like Fairlife, but the much smaller containers make it feel actually possible to use up in a week. It's a similar cost to Fairlife and it's definitely not a budget item, but I prefer it to taking lactase pills all the time and I find that it's worth it to me since I feel like I can actually go through it all. The shelf-stability is great because I only have to use fridge space for one bottle at a time. And I appreciate that I don't need some grocery service subscription to order this online. If you are someone who goes through a lot of milk, is on a very tight budget, is not lactose intolerant, etc., this product is probably not worth it for you. But if anything about my situation feels familiar to you, I definitely recommend it!
