Minted in Potosi/ Bolivia, at that time a Spanish colony in South America, Philip III period, between 1598-1621. Handsomely crude silver treasure (cob) coin. Really good condition with details like Arms of Castille and Leon well recognizable. Nice and deep struck cross on the other side. Sea salvaged and with marks due to the time the coin spent in salt water. The coin was ANACS authenticated. To make the pendant I took the coin of it's coin holder case, but you will receive it with the coin. The coin is safely held by a bezel setting, made from sterling silver. The 4 prongs are made from solid 14k yellow gold. Polished finish. The bails will accommodate chains up to 5mm in diameter. "Cob" coins are the original "treasure coins."
