Review: Birds Rate This 10/10, Squirrels 0/10 😂 - Apparently I own a bird buffet now, and these feeders have been a HUGE hit with my very demanding backyard customers. I waited over a month before reviewing these because I wanted to make sure this wasn’t one of those “looks great for 48 hours and then falls apart dramatically” desertcart purchases. Happy to report: these are actually really good. I bought the 2-pack in May 2026 for $20.35 total, which honestly feels illegal in this economy. Everything arrived super well packaged. Nothing broken, nothing scratched, and every piece was individually wrapped like it was preparing for a cross-country journey. Assembly was also surprisingly easy. I JUST put together the second feeder today, and I’m still slightly offended by how fast it was compared to literally any IKEA furniture experience I’ve ever had. One thing I REALLY liked is the lid security. My old bird feeder basically secured the lid using thoughts and prayers. This one twists shut AND has a little locking bungee clip thing, which makes me feel much more confident against the local squirrel crime ring. A couple small cons: 1. There’s a little bar across the top opening, so if you dump bird seed in too aggressively, congratulations, you’re now feeding the ground too. 2. The feeding ports are a little smaller than my old feeder’s ports. BUT clearly the birds don’t care because they show up every single day like this place earned a Michelin star. Big pros: Looks really nice outside Holds way more bird seed than expected I only refill it about once a week Birds immediately started using it You get TWO feeders I’ve had one outside for over a month now, and it still looks great despite weather, birds fighting over seeds like it’s Black Friday, and squirrels plotting against me daily. Overall: 5 stars. 10/10. Would absolutely buy again. At this point, if I take these down, I’m pretty sure the birds are going to leave me a bad Yelp review.
