I had to manually lift the door to open and close it. I was hoping to avoid having to replace it and ran across these type of products. The Gulfmew set was very inexpensive so I figured it was worth a try.The ten anchors arrive in a small ziplock bag which is inside of a generic white box. I think these are made of plastic, but they actually have a little metallic feel to them. I took out all of the screws on the wood door and moved the hinge out of the way. It was easy to push the anchors into the screw holes, and the top snaps off easily. I put the hinge back over the screw holes and put the old screws back into the newly anchored holes. It definitely takes a little muscle, but wow it is now rock solid.
