I ended up using an old pair of metal shears that worked somewhat. I found these scissors and a few reviews mentioned cutting Kevlar and Carbon fiber. The scissors cut right through without pulling or dragging out the fibers. Worth every dollar especially when you damage expensive material using subpar scissors!
