The lid is truly leakproof as long as you make sure you're tightening it all the way and seating the gasket properly. It's VERY cute and worth it as a small travel cup. It's just the right size too. I like the way it fits in my hand. It holds 12oz, so I make sure to order the right size when using it at a coffee shop. I might get another one in a different color because it makes me so happy. Oh, and it comes with sticky eyes! I haven't used mine yet because I want to put them on something that will stay forever, not a cup that I was frequently.
