    Really great pads

These are indispensable for changing oil or fuel filters on my sailboat. They absorb the oil or diesel like crazy but not any water. How do it know?BTW, a hundred of these things is a BIG pile over 2 feet high. But I will use them over the next few years as I cruise full time.

Great product. Been using these at work, not sure the brand. Can't sind these where I live. They are GREAT for soaking up oil and diesel and I use them when changing fuel and oil filters. They leave no mess behind.

I love these oil pads.  I keep one floating around the bilge of my boat to soak up drips and settled vapours.I also use them all over my shop under cars in storage that are dripping oil and in work areas to clean up after oil changes and the like.  They leave a nice clean floor behind unlike kitty litter, clay or other granular absorbents.When I used granular absorbents I would have to move the absorbent around over the course of a day or more to allow the fluid to be 'touched' by the granules.  These pads wick the fluids up until they're almost entirely absorbed.  Granules always leave dust behind that is difficult to sweep up, even with sweep aides.  These pads can be picked up once they've done their job and a quick wipe with paper towel gets the traces that weren't soaked up.
