Unknown whether new keyboard doesn't work because the computer can no longer recognize keyboards in general, or if the non-American Type cover cannot function without additional settings established to work with an American Surface Pro 3.Too late to return as I purchased it just prior to a 10-day overseas trip that did not arrive prior to the trip.
