A: Yes, you can use wood chips.

**Q: Can this be installed on la caja china**
A: This would be the first install on this type of cooker that I know of, but as long as there is a vent on the la caja china then it should work well. Placement should be on the opposite side of the vent, Smokemiester works great on vertical boxes, see customer reviews.

**Q: How well will this fill a 4’x4’x8’ tall smokehouse?**
A: My smoker is 2x2x8 and it does a wonderful job. When I spoke with the manufacturer about mine he told me that some customers use one unit on much larger smokers than yours.

**Q: How much does this increase the temperature of your smoke chamber?**
A: Our testing has shown that Smokemiester's output raises the ambient air temperature 7 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, in whatever average sized unit that receives the smoke.
