I'm extremely disappointed because I want to create a woodland garden with native plants. There is also the danger that these hybrids will eventually oust the native bluebells in the surrounding countryside. I was so excited when I planted them in late Winter and have spent the last months eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Bluebells. Now I have to pull them all up (150 of them), and start all over again.

These have just come into flower and they are definitely not Native English Bluebells, but the Spanish/hybrid variety. I'm extremely disappointed because I want to create a woodland garden with native plants. There is also the danger that these hybrids will eventually oust the native bluebells in the surrounding countryside. I was so excited when I planted them in late Winter and have spent the last months eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Bluebells. Now I have to pull them all up (150 of them), and start all over again.
