**Q: Hi I need an answer is it 1/2 npt or 3/4  i see both like to hear it from the company**
A: must have been 3/4 sorry I don't remember.  Go with normal replacement

**Q: which direction does the steam come out, need the steam to go straight down to the floor**
A: The pipe end is threaded, and the steam comes out of the other opening. Steam exiting towards the floor is correct, so when installing take care that the non-threaded opening is facing down. Pretty easy to do if Sharkbite fittings are being used (these can rotate after fitted).

**Q: Does this head replace the head I have now? do the heads screw on and off?**
A: Bill, If it is a 3/4" steamhead you are replacing then absolutely. It is a threaded piece, therefore the connection is screw on, however silicone sealant will need to be applied to ensure proper water-proofing.

**Q: Does the steam shoot directly down from the head?**
A: Hi Bailey,Thanks for your question. The steamhead will direct steam directly downwards towards the floor of the shower.
