Simply adjust the control from 240V to 110V or vice versa" there is no voltage change switch. The label on the bottom says "120-240v 250-1kw". I bought this for use in many countries inc USA where it's a 110v supply. As power is a function of the square of the voltage (Ohms Law) and this took 5 mins to boil a full kettle on UK 240v, when I take it to the USA, the power output will be down to around 210 watts so it's going to take almost 5 times as long to boil (ie over 20 mins). If this is the case, I shall be sending it back, but since I couldn't measure any passive resistance across the live and neutral pins, I'm hoping there is some clever electronics in there that switches the voltage so it heats up reasonably fast on lower voltages. The "250W-1kw" label on the bottom leads me to think otherwise. **Q: Can someone please tell me the max dimensions of this travel kettle?
