I think this is a well made product and has hours of fun for the average person. I think the idea is really creative and I just loved it when I saw it.

### ⭐ Too difficult for an 8 yr old

I purchased this as Christmas gift for my 8 yrs old daughter, she enjoys doing crafts. I was very unhappy with this product. We purchased the latch hook that was recommended and the grids appeared to be too small for the hook to pass through easily. This made it near impossible for my daughter to do on her own, which was the purpose of this gift. I have done latach hook before and it was even difficult for me. The instructions were not simple to follow, especially for a child. Half of this is latch hook and the other half is cross stich. I did not realize this. I read one review of a similar nature to my own, all the others were so good that I thought maybe this person just wasn't crafty or intelligent(poor judgement on my part). I am returning this and exchanging it for a simpler craft for my daughter to enjoy making. I will not purchase another latch hook from MCG Textiles.

Purchased this latch hook kit for our 10 year old daughter. Some of the pillow she can do herself,but she will need a lot of help. Much too complicated for a child in my opinion.
