All of the heels I'm capping are vintage, so perhaps that's why it was harder to get a nice fit. I've included pictures so you can see how they worked out on 3 different pairs of heels - as you can see, they really are best for a straight heel and not for anything too tapered. When they do fit well (see the first picture) they add extra balance and make the shoes nearly silent. Really happy with how they worked out on that pair.The owner seems to be a very smart woman! She included an extra set in neutral and hand-wrote a thank-you note... not a bad way to build customer loyalty! ;) I also like how there's a printed guide for finding the right size on the packaging.One suggestion - if the protectors had heat shrink at the top, you could get them to conform to more styles with a sturdier fit and people could just use their hair dryers to set them. I'd buy lots of those.Nice product, but probably best for more modern shoes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2017* I ordered these in black a few months ago for shoes that had the "nail" exposed, and these were a great fix. I have now worn through one heel protector, but I will just replace them. For reference, it probably took me around 4-5 months of wearing that pair of shoes once a week (ish) to wear through the Clickless heel protector with an already exposed nail. To me, totally worth it to be able to continue to wear shoes that I love.They are extremely easy to place on shoes, and with the set of different sizes, I can't imagine many shoes that wouldn't have a proper fit.I ordered a neutral set a couple weeks ago, and the seller threw in a free black set as a thank you for being a return customer. Gifts like that are always nice, but I definitely don't expect that from Amazon sellers. The trick was to use a size that is a bit tough to get on - so that they don't slip off.
