I've really enjoyed this tea before bed every night since it arrived. Makes for a peaceful evening before falling asleep. According to science, the stuff is also likely to be pretty good for you. Chock full of vitamins to help immune systems and all that. As far as I can tell, this company does things right. High quality tea bags, full of what looks to be high quality pine needles. Luckily for us, in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York, there is a lot of wild white pines on private land. So we met a bunch of people and eventually came to an agreement with someone who owns a ranch upstate with thousands of acres of white pine that has never been touched. It’s where we source 100% of our pine, and it makes us feel confident that every bag we sell is not only coming from wild Eastern White Pine trees, but that they are from trees that have never been fertilized, sprayed, or treated with anything. We personally try to avoid plastics and micro plastics in everything we consume, and our tea was the same. So we spent a lot of time looking around at different options, and eventually we found a tea bag made out of a biodegradable mesh. What’s cool about this material is that the mesh is made from a natural plant starch! They found that if you heat the plant starch a certain way, it becomes a good consistency to hold tea. So there’s no chemicals or artificial things or plastic involved.
