One might like a product at this price to last longer than that, but see below. This version is superior in a number of ways: 1. The soap reservoir is completely open. When you remove the top/lid on this one, you have an unrestricted cylinder to fill with soap, which makes eyeballing quantity left and refilling very easy. The prior version had a "throat" just under the top/lid that made it practically impossible to see how much soap was left and also more cumbersome to refill. 2.
